Frequently Asked Questions

Can I wear a kaftan dress beyond the beach?
Yes. You can wear a kaftan over swimwear at the beach or style it for a holiday lunch or evening out. Check the fabric and coverage before deciding how to wear it: a sheer or open-knit design may need a layer underneath, while a more opaque style may work as a dress on its own. Explore the MOEVA kaftan dresses collection to find a style that suits your plans.

Can I wear a kaftan dress over a swimsuit?
Yes. A kaftan dress is an easy layer over a swimsuit or bikini for the beach, poolside or a resort lunch. If you prefer more coverage, check the length and transparency of the specific design. You can also explore MOEVA’s beach cover-ups for other options.

What should I wear under a kaftan dress?
For the beach or pool, wear it over a swimsuit or bikini. For other occasions, it depends on the fabric: a sheer or open-knit kaftan may call for a slip or another layer, while a more opaque design may be worn on its own. Check the product photos and fabric details to see how much coverage it provides.

Which kaftan dress fabric should I choose for a holiday?
Choose according to where you plan to wear it. An open-knit kaftan adds texture over swimwear but provides less coverage. Silk offers a softer drape for a more dressed-up look. Fabric and transparency vary by design, so compare the details of individual styles in the kaftan dresses collection.

How should a kaftan dress fit?
A kaftan dress should feel comfortable and allow you to move easily. A belted style defines the waist, while a looser cut creates a more flowing silhouette. Check the product’s length and size details, then use MOEVA’s fit guide to choose your size.
