Ed Westwick and Amy Jackson have officially tied the knot.

 

Afte.r a private civil ceremony at The Connaught Hotel in London on Aug. 9, the Gossip Girl star, 37, and the actress, 32, exchanged vows once more in a stunning destination wedding on Saturday, Aug. 24, in Italy.

The couple hosted 220 guests from the U.S., India, and across Europe for a lavish three-day celebration along the Amalfi Coast. Jackson tells PEOPLE the idyllic region was 'the perfect place' for their wedding, capturing 'timeless romance and vintage charm.'

'We wanted a wedding venue that was not only breathtakingly beautiful, with ocean views, rolling hills, and lush vineyards, but also distinctive, and we found exactly that,' adds Amy Jackson

 

Among the star-studded guest list were Westwick's former Gossip Girl co-star Kelly Rutherford, model and actress Daisy Lowe, comedian and actor Jack Whitehall with his partner Roxy Horner, film producer Mohammed Al Turki, and cosmetics mogul Dr. Barbara Sturm.

The festivities began on Friday, Aug. 23, with an enchanting sunset cruise aboard the Motonave Patrizia. 'We sailed along the breathtaking coastline of Ravello, Positano, and Sorrento before anchoring at Capri for a refreshing dip in the sea as the sun set behind the iconic Faraglioni rocks,' Jackson shares.

 

The wedding weekend concluded on Sunday, Aug. 25, with a glamorous farewell brunch at the Giardini del Fuenti beach club in Vietri sul Mare. The day was dedicated to 'unwinding and savoring the moment,' according to Amy, who reveals that guests relished a sumptuous family-style Italian feast 'under the shade of lemon trees,' followed by an afternoon of sunbathing and soaking in the breathtaking views.
