Frequently Asked Questions

Do knitwear pieces stretch or lose their shape over time?

All knitted fabrics have a natural degree of flexibility; however, the amount of stretch depends on the yarn, knitting technique and fit of the garment. Hanging heavy knitwear or washing it incorrectly may affect its shape. To preserve the original silhouette, follow the care instructions and store heavier knitted pieces folded rather than on hangers.

How do I choose the right size in women’s knitwear?

The right size in women’s knitwear depends on the garment’s cut, stretch and intended fit. Knitted swimsuits and bikinis should fit securely without restricting movement, while knit dresses and pants may have a fitted or more relaxed silhouette. Compare your bust, waist and hip measurements with the MOEVA Fit Guide and check the fit notes provided on each product page before selecting your size.

Does luxury knitwear pill?

Pilling may occur when knitted fibres rub against the body, bags, furniture or other garments. This does not necessarily indicate poor quality, as friction can also cause pilling in premium knitwear. Washing the garment inside out, following the care instructions and avoiding excessive friction can help preserve its original appearance.

Does MOEVA knitwear feel itchy against the skin?

No. MOEVA knitwear pieces are entirely hand-knitted using LYCRA®-certified materials. Their soft and flexible texture feels comfortable against the skin without causing itching or irritation, providing lasting comfort throughout the day. As individual sensitivities may vary, we recommend reviewing the material composition provided on each product page before purchasing.
