Happy Women's Day!
In celebration of International Women’s Day, we sat down with Moeva’s cofounders, Yagmur Zırh, Burcu Tanman Togay, and Damla Zırh, for an inspiring conversation on confidence, sisterhood, and the power of women supporting women.

A HEARTFELT INTERVIEW WITH OUR CO-FOUNDERS
What is the most powerful message your brand conveys to women?
Yagmur Zırh: At Moeva, we believe that confidence is the most powerful statement a woman can wear. Our brand is built on the idea that fashion is not just about looking good, but about feeling strong, independent, and empowered. Through our designs, we aim to celebrate the strength and resilience of women, inspiring them to embrace their individuality and express themselves boldly.
What is the definition of sisterhood for you?
Yagmur Zırh: For me, sisterhood is about unwavering support, trust, and empowerment. It’s about lifting each other up, celebrating each other’s victories, and standing together through challenges. Sisterhood means knowing that no matter what happens, you have a circle of women who believe in you, inspire you, and push you to be the best version of yourself. It’s not just about family ties; it’s about a shared sense of solidarity, a deep connection that binds women together, regardless of background or experience.
At what point do you align women with the inspiration behind Moeva?
Burcu Tanman TogayWe align with women at the moment they decide to embrace their power, their individuality, and their worth when they stop seeking validation and start owning their space in the world. Every piece we create is a tribute to that fearless spirit, reminding women that they are bold, unstoppable, and worthy of everything they aspire to be. Moeva women are not just individuals with whom we share our designs, they are a sisterhood community where we share common dreams.
What is your greatest wish for the future of all women?
Burcu Tanman Togay: My greatest wish is for every woman to have the freedom to dream, the strength to pursue those dreams, and the support to make them a reality. I hope for a future where no woman feels limited by society, expectations, or fear. A world where equality is not a goal but a given, where women are celebrated for their ambitions and achievements without barriers. I want all women to live boldly, love fiercely, and walk through life knowing they are powerful beyond measure.
How can the real support between women be achieved and what will be the impact on society?
Damla Zırh : Real support between women starts with genuine encouragement, empathy, and a mindset of collaboration rather than competition. It’s about celebrating each other’s successes, offering a helping hand in tough times, and creating safe spaces where women can grow, learn, and thrive together. When women uplift one another, we break stereotypes, challenge societal norms, and pave the way for the next generations to dream bigger.
A society where women truly support each other is a society that thrives because when women rise, everyone benefits. What do you most want to remember and remind others of on Women’s Day?
Damla Zırh : I want to remind everyone that Women’s Day is not just a celebration, but also a reminder of how far we’ve come and how much more we can achieve together. It’s about recognizing the power we hold when we stand united, supporting and inspiring each other. I want every woman to remember that her voice matters, her dreams are valid, and she is capable of incredible things.
