PFW: Jacquemus Show That Everyone Is Buzzing About
As always, we wouldn’t expect anything less from a fashion house that continuously surprises its audience. After watching the highly anticipated show on Monday, the fashion world started to stir up with critiques on the brand’s Ready To Wear Fall 2019 collection.
The buzzing started right after the guests received their invitation to the runway show. Jacquemus sent out invitations to the attendees in microscopic lavender bags attached to an envelope. On the night of the show, the catwalk was re-created as a village and colored house designs were aligned. The set design was all inspired by the island of Murano near Venice.
Even though the show was controversial and offered a variety of patterns with a sunny color palette, we can easily say that the designer traded his sexy, Mediterranean “La Bomba” approach with more masculine and polished looks.
