Sydney Travel Guide
What is the recipe for a perfect holiday? If you ask us, it’s dazzling beaches, golden weather, coastal walks, and good food. For Australia Day, we have prepared a city guide of Sydney, the perfect destination.
START THE DAY
There are many ways to start the day memorable, and if you have woken up in Sydney, surfing by sunrise is definitely one of them. Head to Bondi Beach to feel like a local. You can surf, walk by the coast until Coogee to discover the sandstone cliffs and the beaches, or even meditate by the sweet morning light.
You’ve earned a delicious breakfast by now and don’t worry, Sydney’s brunch scene won’t disappoint you. Take a place at Bill’s to satisfy your taste buds, enjoy the city’s best-scrambled eggs and the famous ricotta hotcakes.
Jump on an Uber and explore the A list retailers in The Intersection in Sydney’s Paddington neighborhood. This pretty block is filled with well-curated boutiques, trendy restaurants, and art galleries. Grab a pastry in Köket, a Swedish bakery serving delicious cinnamon buns, Skagen, and lingonberry cordials. A must-try while strolling in the area! If you would like to have a more cultural experience, head to the Art Gallery of New South Wales for contemporary, and Aboriginal artworks. After the museum visit, head to The Royal Botanic Garden, absolutely stunning scenery with Australia’s rare botanicals.
The perfect ending to a perfect day is only possible with thriving food. Book a table at Quay (in advance) for an excellent experience, creative menus, and stunning displays. You’ll have a front-row seat to the best view in town. Catch a show at The Sydney Opera House for an experience you’ll never forget.
You left a few things in your shopping bag,
it's not too late to review your bag and
complete your purchase.
