Healthy Quarantine Sweet Cravings

During these challenging times, we might need to be a little extra careful to make sure we are eating healthy and clean as much as possible. But healthy shouldn’t mean, tasteless or boring. We have wrapped our favorite. 3 easy healthy recipes to replace your sweet cravings while staying at home during the quarantine.

The majority of these recipes can be made with items you already have in your fridge or pantry..These are the healthy fruit and dairy-based dessert options for your midnight sweet cravings or healthy snack options when you are looking for some sweet, in a healthy alternative. Let's dive in!

1) Berry-Licious Bowl

Ingredients:

Strawberry, 75 g (1/2 cup)

Red Apple, peeled 1

Blackberry or raspberry, 60g (1 cup)

Greek yogurt, 140 g (1/2 cup)

Milk, 60 ml (1/4 cup)

Toppings, whatever you like, we used:

Banana, sliced, to taste

Blueberries, to taste

Shredded coconut, to taste

Chia seeds, optional, to taste

Any type of nuts: Almond, hazelnut, cashew, to taste

Preparation:

1. Add the berries, apple, greek yogurt and

milk to a blender

and blend until smooth.

2. Top with your favorite toppings.

3. Enjoy!

2. Choco-loco Smoothie

Ingredients:

1½ cups.milk(360mL)

¼ cup.peanut butter (60g)

1 scoop.raw cacao powder

1 banana

1 cup.ice(140g)

¼ cup.honey, optional

Preparation:

1. Add all ingredients to a blender.

2. Pulse until smooth and creamy.

3. Pour into a glass

3. Oatmeal Energy Balls

Ingredients:

1 cup.dry oat(100g)

¼ cup.peanut butter(60g)

¼ cup.honey(85g)

¼ cup.raisin(35g)

¼ cup.raw cacao powder (30g), optional

½ teaspoon.ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt, optional

Preparation:

1. Mix oats, peanut butter, and honey in a large bowl.

2. Add raisins, cacao, cinnamon, and salt. Mix.

3. Place bowl in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

4. Mold mixture into bite-sized balls.

5. Serve immediately.

6. Enjoy!
