Grammy Awards 2020
This Sunday, the 62nd annual Grammy Awards took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The award ceremony and the red carpet faced bittersweet moments, paying tribute to late basketball legend, Kobe Bryant, who died Sunday in a helicopter crash. The host of the night Alicia Keys started the show by announcing, "Tonight is for Kobe". Music’s biggest night was full of red-carpet hits and memorable wins.
Billie Eilish became a 5-Time Grammy Winner at Just 18 Years Old while making a dazzling entrance to the red carpet in full Gucci look.Eilishreceived prizes for Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and last but not least, Best New Artist.
Ariana Grande stepped on the red carpet with a voluminous tulle Giambattista Valli ball gown, serving the smokey look we have been chanting for. Lizzo looked like a true angel in her Atelier Versace gown which was inspired by her all-time idol, Diana Ross.
Dua Lipa chose to keep things simple yet elegant in her silk Alexander Wang two-piece. Power couple Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton was all simple when they walked down the red carpet. 50-year-old Stefani turned heads in a shell-covered mini dress designed by Dolce & Gabbana paired with knee-length nude boots.
The red carpet wouldn't be complete without Billy Porter's headline maker outfit. He rocked a Baja East sparkly blue jumpsuit and jacket combo with bedazzled fringe details. Lana Del Rey, on the other hand, made a safer choice with her silver gown, covered in intricate beading and fringe. Yet, the best part of her dress is the fact that she actually bought it her self, wait for it......at the MALL!!
